MLI Learning Registration & Cancellation Policies
Registration Policy:
Trainees or their employer (the “Trainee”) should NOT make travel arrangements prior to receiving confirmation. MLI Learning, the training program for Motion Laboratories, Inc. (“MLI”) will send written confirmation 28 – 30 days before the class date (the “Confirmation Period”) to allow time to meet the minimum class size requirements and to allow Trainees time to make travel arrangements. Trainees registered before this point will be sent confirmation during the Confirmation Period. Trainees registered after this point will be sent confirmation as soon as their registration is processed. If the class is cancelled, all currently registered Trainees will receive notice of the cancellation during the Confirmation Period. See cancellation policy for more information.
Trainees are considered registered when all the following requirements have been met:
1) The MLI Learning Registration Form has been completed, submitted, and processed.
2) The Assumption of Risk and Release Agreement has been completed and submitted.
3) The Requirements and Use of Collected Information Agreement has been completed and submitted.
4) Payment has been received.
Payment will be collected via credit card through the MLI website payment portal. Trainees must register and pay individually. Registration and payment for private group training classes will be handled directly with the MLI team and not through the website.
Payment is transferable. One Trainee can request their payment and seat be applied to another Trainee, in which case registration for the first Trainee will be canceled and given to the second Trainee instead (for the same class). All other dates and policies herein apply to the second Trainee.
If a Trainee registered for training through their employer resigns or is terminated by their employer after registering and before the class date, the employer may transfer the payment and seat to another Trainee, in which case registration for the first Trainee will be canceled and given to the second Trainee instead (for the same class). All other dates and policies herein apply to the second Trainee.
Cancellation Policy:
Trainees should NOT make travel arrangements prior to receiving confirmation.
If minimum class size is not met by the Confirmation Period, the class is subject to cancellation. Trainees already registered for the cancelled class may reschedule, request a full refund, or request credit to be used toward another training class.
If minimum class size is met by the Confirmation Period and MLI cancels the class during or after the Confirmation Period, Trainees already registered for the cancelled class may reschedule, request a full refund, or request credit to be used toward another training class. MLI however cannot be responsible for nonrefundable travel expenses. MLI is committed to its goal of educating all who wish to learn about our equipment and industry, and we will make all reasonable attempts to keep class dates. However, classes are subject to cancellation for unforeseen circumstances.
If MLI cancels a class prior to the start of the Confirmation Period, trainees already registered for the cancelled class may reschedule, request a full refund, or request credit to be used toward another training class.
If a Trainee cancels prior to the start of the Confirmation Period, he or she may reschedule, request a full refund, or request credit to be used toward another training class.
If a Trainee cancels AFTER THE START of the Confirmation Period, no refund will be provided.
If a Trainee is unable to attend a class for any reason other than a Qualifying Exception (as defined below), no refund will be provided. If a Qualifying Exception applies and all requirements have been met, the Trainee may reschedule, request a full refund, or request credit to be used toward another training class, unless otherwise specified.
Trainees are expected to conduct themselves appropriately and safely and to follow the instruction of the MLI staff while in class. If an MLI team member determines in his or her discretion that a Trainee is behaving inappropriately, such as to disturb the training session, distract the other Trainees or to jeopardize the safety of others at the class, the offending Trainee will be asked to leave, with no right to receive certification, and with his or her registration being subject to cancellation with no refund.
Trainees are cautioned that in order to receive certification they must arrive at each training session on time. Delays of even an hour or two will leave insufficient time to properly receive all needed information.
Qualifying Exceptions:
1) Death of the Trainee or of his or her immediate family member.
2) Travel mishaps outside of the Trainee’s reasonable control, including those from flight cancellations or severe weather.
3) If a Trainee is too ill to attend or is contagious and may affect the health of others at the class, he or she may reschedule or request credit to be used toward another training class. No refund will be provided.
